Jett was likely another casualty of the War, as referenced by her Kunai in the Versus // KAY/O + Brimstone Card (see below).VALORANT is a free to play 5v5, character-based tactical shooter. Brimstone died during the War, something that KAY/O took upon himself as his failure to protect his friend. Brim and KAY/O has a very close connection, to the point of KAY/O wanting to give present-day Brimstone a hug, and even commending Reyna at his request. Brim was certainly on the Human side of the war, and perhaps even it's Leader. KAY/O shows extreme loyalty and respect towards Brimstone, willing to unquestioningly follow his lead. He was likely on the Human side of the War, fighting along with KAY/O for Humanity. KAY/O exhibits some camaraderie towards Sova, and states that they were Side-by-Side. This suggests that she joined the Radiant side, and KAY/O had to put her down. KAY/O says that Astra goes on to "Destroy Worlds", but regardless of her power, is killable. KAY/O furthers this by stating that Skye becomes a great menace in the future, also implying that she would join the Radiants in the battle. Skye is already referred to as having incredible potential with her Radiant Powers in-game.
The wording KAY/O uses could also mean that she is being used as a Weapon, forced to fight by some other entity, not out of her own will (this is complete speculation and should not be considered Canon). It isn't clearly stated which side she fights for although it is likely that she choses to protect her kind and sides with the Radiants.
Sadly, he says little else on the Radiant healer, so there isn't much to work on. KAY/O refers to Sage as 'Only a Weapon' in the future. However, in the WARM UP Cinematic, KAY/O confirms that he was programmed to kill Phoenix, implying that Phoenix was also one of the enemy. This has caused many to speculate that Phoenix was one of the Radiants who fought alongside the Humans during the war. Phoenix is unique as a Radiant to be called a friend by KAY/O. However, KAY/O still holds a particular hatred for her because of this, clearly stated in several of his voicelines. Eventually, KAY/O did kill Reyna, thus ending the war. This could symbolize that Kingdom, powerful as it might be, also fell during the War.Īs stated before, Reyna is likely the Instigator of the War, and went on to become the Leader of the Radiant side.
