I liked it so much that when I ran out of it, I was trying to look for a lipstick in the exact same colour. It had a lot of gold shimmer, but was a lot brighter and slightly more orange on my lips than in the pictures that you’ve posted. Lychee Luxe was also my first lipglass from MAC. It’s amazing how it only took a few seconds of sunshine to cheer me up! ? Oh, well, it only lasted a minute, and now it’s gone, but I do feel a little better. ? I LOVE you, Luxe! #MAC LIPGLASS REVIEWS MAC#
If MAC ever discontinued Lychee Luxe … heads would roll! Well, not really, but you better believe I’d start stockpiling. No joke, but I get about five solid hours of good color with it, and that includes my regular lip smacking and all of the water I drink throughout the day.
Lychee Luxe looks great year ’round, pairing beautifully with neutral eye makeup, black cat eyeliners and smokey brown shadows for school and/or work.Īnother thing I love about it? Staying power. The two complement each other nicely.Īnd it’s not all about summer, either.
It goes great with so many different eye makeup looks, like all of the seasonal golds, bronzes, coppers, teals and greens of summer. It stands out, but I don’t have to check on it every 10 minutes throughout the day.Īnd, oooh! - the flexibility. Lychee Luxe is the coral lipgloss Goldilocks would have worn because it bears (ha!) a perfect amount of golden pinkish coral.
